Looking to improve your knowledge of the rules that govern the Australian Public Service? Want to learn how to effectively demonstrate the value of the work your agency does? If so, we invite you to enrol in our one-day professional development course, crafted by experienced former SES officers for public servants operating between APS 1 and EL1 levels.

In this course, we'll cover the key concepts and principles that underpin public administration and governance, giving you a solid understanding of the purpose, context, and environment in which the APS operates. From there, we'll delve into the critical guardrails that ensure the integrity of our public institutions, exploring why they matter and equipping you with the skills you need to find and apply them effectively in your role.

We'll also use your own agency's material to illustrate these concepts, helping you gain a deeper understanding of your current role and how it relates to your agency's mission and goals. And we'll show you how to effectively communicate this information to others, including how it relates to your agency's reporting and budget documents.

Cost: $875 per person (GST inclusive).
